From the heart of Ybor City, Tampa's own Orquesta iNFINIDAD is celebrating 23 years of providing latin music to the Tampa Bay area this coming Jan. 6th, 2013 at Skipper's Smokehouse from 5PM to 9PM!  The theme for the event is "Fuego en el 23" named after the famous Arsenio Rodriguez/Sonora Ponceña song by the same name.  "Fuego" represents the fire that the band shares for performing latin dance and latin jazz music and the "23" is the number of years that the group has been doing it.  This 11 pc. band which consists of a four pc. brass section, an authentic three pc. latin percussion section, two vocalists, one keyboard and bass, will be performing fiery Salsa, Cuban Son, and Latin Jazz music.  Stay tuned for surprise invited guest performers as well! The performance date of Jan. 6th, 2013 happens to fall on "Three Kings Day" aka "Reyes Magos" and the start of "Octavitas" and in the spirit of tradition for that day, people are being asked to bring a children's toy to donate to needy children. The gift is suggested but not required. Skippers Smokehouse is famous for its live music presentations, seafood and is one of the first venues that recognized and presented Orquesta iNFINIDAD's talent on their stage.  For the event, Skippers looks to have the "Fuego Mojito" and the chefs are working on a special...
